Currently Head of IT at Thade Gerdes GmbH, previously Head of Technical Integration at EDL Software Deutschland GmbH. Self-taught by choice – after early academic groundwork in business and media informatics, he committed to the hands-on path: keyboard over lecture hall. At Nordnetic he owns software development, web, cloud, IT security, and strategic business development.
Nordnetic was officially notarized as a UG (limited liability) on June 1, 2026. But the story really starts four decades earlier.
Peter Trant spent his entire career in telecommunications and security technology. He has watched generations of radio and communication systems come and go – and knows what actually stands the test of time. That experience is invaluable when planning IT for public authorities, industrial sites, or critical infrastructure.
Maximilian Trant brings the other side: cloud, Microsoft 365, web development, IT security. After early academic groundwork in business and media informatics, he deliberately chose the hands-on path – following the principle: build, don't just study. Today he simultaneously serves as Head of IT at Thade Gerdes GmbH, was previously Head of Technical Integration at EDL Software Deutschland GmbH, and combines classic network expertise with modern cloud architecture and experience in designing and running professional IT organizations.
